Was anyone else at the Glock match in Shelton (WA) on Sunday?
Seemed a bit slow on Sunday, but I'm willing to bet it was really packed on Saturday. I got one of my baby Glocks fixed by the very kind armorer working the match. (The 'slide release' -- which everyone but Glock calls a takedown spring -- was broken, plus it was overdue for a basic checkup.) The armorer was really good about explaining exactly what he was doing to my gun and why, so I learned a few things too.
I went with a group of women and I think we all had a great time. It was the first time shooting a match for most everyone in the group and my first match outside the friendly-and-familiar FAS matches. It was a fairly gentle intro into the world of match shooting, I think. Lots of really nice folks hosting the match and working as ROs.
