ive been lookin at these streamlight tactial pistol mounted lights, really nice, but i dont see any of them for P99s...........is there another brand that makes any? also if i just wanted a regular tac light, is surefire the best brand? they seem to be...

also, i have seen one of the first models of the inova X5 LED flashlight and that thing was bright!! now they have a tactical version, is this superior to the surefires?

Unfortunately as P99 owners, we're pretty much left out of the loop when it comes to rail mounted accessories. There's supposedly a light from Laser Devices but I've never seen it and haven't heard of anyone actually owning it. At least no one on Park Cities Tactical or the Walther Forum has said anything about owning it.

Well, there's THIS hideous thing from Laser Devices that you can't use without the laser attached...

Or THIS much nicer looking but slightly $$$$ version from Applied Laser systems...

Yeah, I know that's a SigPro, but it's the only picture I could find of this particular light.

I don't have any experience with either one, but I know which one I'd rather have... even though it costs as much as the UTL on my HK!

i went looked high and low a few months ago and couldnt find anything except the 2 that onslaught has shown. i even contacted a couple of the companies that make light attachments and non of them had plans to make one for the p99

btw onslaught, GREAT sig!

spenny

I am NOT wanting a underbarrel laser, because i spoke with the poeple at laser max and they said they had plans to make a internal laser for the P99 sometime this coming summer......whuppee! thats what im saving my pennies for. but id rather have just the light that it easily detachable.....
