Hello all,

I was wondering what you guys do to keep your suppressors organized in your safes.
I asked because I recently built a cubby out of 1/4" MDF and while it came out functional, I think there are better ideas out there.

I've tried to find stuff online for this but have failed. Thanks for any help.

Cut holes in the top of your safe? Not all of us remove our silencers :D

In all seriousness, I'd draw inspiration from how blueprints or scrolls used to be stored; often times the racks looked similar to what you show above, only the dividers are at 45degrees so the cylindrical items rest in the V securely. The cavities would be large enough for several rolls of the same document to rest together, but in your case they'd be sized large enough for your fattest can.

Another approach would be to slide the cans onto a series of rubberized/powder-coated rods or dowels, which would save you space on dividers, but be a bit harder to apply labels to. You'll sometimes see pistols displayed this way in gun shops.

Y'all have made me realize I should have named this thread Gun Safe Suppressor Accessories Storage.
I also keep my rifle cans on the guns and at least one on a pistol, so most of those pouches are empty.
What I find myself needing more is to organizing and store the various tools, pouches, spare barrels, etc, that come with stamp collecting, so as to not clutter my safe. Plus a suppressor or two.
In that regard, I'm liking my cubby more and more but would still be open to any suggestions.

It may not be practical for your applications, but I use a cheap pistol case similar to this:

I have several of them and they are labelled. The cases hold the spare magazines for the gun, the factory barrel (if the gun didn't come threaded), any thread adapters or tools, etc. Until the gun goes in, the cases don't weigh much, so they hang on the inside of the safe door.

My shelf space in the safe is more valuable to me than the door space, so anything I can get off the shelves is helpful.

I just use a cheap 3-drawer plastic shelf unit from Walmart. Rimfire cans go on one drawer, centerfire pistol cans in another and centerfire rifle cans in the last one.
