Thanks!>.. yeah, I "ALMOST" put my gold chains and old school beeper in there.. hahahaha... maybe tomorrow.

I got a "Gangsta" looking gold bracelet with diamonds that spell out "JOE" (real, hand me down from my dad who's also JOE)... maybe i'll put that with my glock, cash and beeper.. hahahahaha.

I didn't take the time to count it but that looks like about $10 Grand in Cash or the way the current economy is going 45 Euros :D

I'm not a big fan of the M&P but nice pics though!

Beautiful M&P! I'm a big fan of the M&P 40, have a full size myslef. Here's hoping the make an M&P pro in .40 eventually!

Im in no way a pro but i do enjoy my photography.

The photo would be worlds better IMO with a contrasting backdrop. As it is right now because of the white blanket/towel, the whole thing is kinda blown out.

Other than that... possibly building a light box... external flash and Bounce it off of a reflective source... Tripod is a must really... Bring the F# up a little bit and slow down your shutter speeds... that will let more detail sink in.

But for that firearm, i would put it on a different color backdrop.

I bet if you were to simply put it on a wood table, and slow the shutter down you would get one heck of a photo. Beautiful gun and setup of the shot otherwise... My .02c

the best thing is take a ton of pics and narrow it down.. its FREE once you own the equipment :D

uh... wow.

Dat got yo fotay and yo benjis up in dis hizzah.

fo sho.

Funny how when I see a plastic pistol and an inordinate amount of cash two things come to mind.

Black dialect and drugs.

I blame the media.

It should bring to mind hard work and responsible gun ownership.

Zombi.
What you're trying to do is shoot a "Gun Portrait". I would suggest that you lower you ISO to 100 or lower with the amount of light you are showing... also if you can shoot anything slower than 1/60 shutter then you are better than most. I recommend that you try at least 1/125 for anything hand held. With F4 or F 2.8 or so you have to have your focus really "on". F2.8 has a really short focus area...say if you focus on some bullets layed in front of a gun then the gun will be out of focus and say you have a knife in front of the bullets ...it will be out of focus too. I would agree with everything that Kingofthehill said except the part about slowing the shutter down... you need to speed it up...1/6 of a second is much slower than 1/125 of a second. The most noted mistake I see here is that some of the photos on the THR are shot trying to focus too close with a lense that has a longer minimum focus distance. Check that min. focus distance and get no closer than that...zoom ...but no closer. By the way, I am a Pro Photographer with over ten years of wedding, portrait and senior photography.

So you run a counterfeiting ring? Lol jk.

I like those M&P/Walther's I think they look really decent I would like to compare them to an XD.

Briancraig- thats 15k. I sold my a few cars before i move to texas... don't have room to take them so i had to sell toys. Sucked... but im going to get some fun stuff when i get to Tx and get to enjoy non-roster firearms... the day i get my ID, im going to get an XDm and probably something in the STI lineup because i finally can... then on to building my first EBR :)

Nice shots. I'm mildly jealous. :D

Two quick questions: what size are your hands, and how well can you get all your fingers on the grip and pinkie extension? Thanks!

As a fellow woodworker, photographer and firearms enthusiast, I'd like to see more of the headboard. I need to build one myself.;)
