Guns You'd Like to See Them Make

I'd like Colt to make Government Models like they did around 1959, both in terms of looks and quality, only with easier-to-see sights and a fractionally shorter hammer for no hammer bite.
Agreed!!

I also would like to see the return of the Model 18 SW revolver , also made like it was in the "old days".

Ruger Single Six as a 5 shot +P rated .38 Spl.; S&W M696 in 4" bbl., S&W 686 Mtn. Gun as a production item; M1950 S&W back in 4" bbl and stainless. M15 S&W 4" in Scandium.

In other words, some PRACTICAL guns.

Colt to make the Anaconda in 41mag and then bring back the King Cobra and chamber it in .41 Special.

I'd like to see a modern handgun produced that is chambered for 7.62x25mm.

Methinks that a carbine chambered for the same round would just be the bees knees.

Ditto on the carbine in 7.62x25, if the Berreta Storm was made in that caliber I might buy one.

I'm going to add a few to my list;

S&W should produce more of the classic-style polished blue revolvers, with the nice wood Magna Target grips, namely;

A Model 27 "Mountain Gun",
A 586 but with adjustable sights

A NC manufactured sidelock O/U with the handleing of a Boss or Beretta SO for under $3k. (This is feasable).

I wish H&K would make a 9mm single stack pocket gun.

More guns in 10mm (USP, more 10mm 1911s)

A single stack Kahr in 45GAP or 45ACP.

A single stack Glock in 45ACP with the slide length of the G19/G23.

CZ PCR or P01 in 40S&W (which I hear might be coming later this year).

A High Power with a decent finish that had less than a 10 lb trigger pull that didn't cost appreciably more than a CZ75.

A .308 autoloading pistol. I'm crazy, I know. :D

Simple design, no slide, basically a hugely cut-down FAL action, lightened and made with stronger alloys, and a folding front grip. I'd be the first in line.....

EDIT: Better yet, a 5 or 6 shot (4 would even work) revolver in rifle calibers, IE .223, .308, 7.62x39mm... I'd love that.

I know, nutty handcannoneer. What can I say, I love recoil!

More 10mm's across the board
High Point carbine in .45acp that accepts 1911 mags
Romanian AK's without canted front sights
More blued S&W revos without the lock
Colt Delta Elite and Mustang Pocketlite
Alloy framed NAA Guardian in .380
EAA Coach gun with exposed hammers
Accurate Mini-14's with real magazines
Springfield Armory M1a's price at their real worth
Glock 19-size in .45 GAP
K-frame 5-shot titanium cylindered revo in .45GAP
More 9mm revolvers
Factory produced carry revo in .480 Ruger

A guy can dream I guess....

A alloy, high capacity HK P7 chambered in .45 ACP! I love my P7M8 but would love it even more if it was a .45 and didn't weigh so much.

Mac

A CZ or H&K chambered in 10mm.
I don't buy many guns (I know that heresey around here), but I would buy one of these TODAY.

The Storm in 7.62x25 would be cool. If it comes in a folding stock version after the ban, it would be dead sexy.

I would like to see a reproduction of the 1858 Remington New Model Army and the LeMat revolver made with high quality modern carbon steel (basically I want it strong enough to handle modern powder pressures and/or frequent shooting with out wearing down quickly as most of the current reproductions do).

How about a high tech pocket pistol close in size to the Kel-Tec P3AT that is chambered in 45acp?

Oh, and I want Rossi to start making coachguns again.

G99 == G22 but in 9mm and uses P99 mags
I have been dreaming about this gun that doesn't exist all week. If anyone from Walther sees this PLEASE make one. I will pre-order and everything.

out me on the list for a cz-97b in 10mm. I'd really love one of those.

- full size version of the Glock 36

- P7 in .45 ACP

- airweight snubbie .45 ACP revolver with concealed hammer and low profile sights

- single stack full size USP .45 and 10mm with a lower bore axis, good trigger and manual safety located like a 1911 (allowing for high thumbs grip)

- single stack subcompact Glock in .45 or 10mm

I am amazed that no one has mentioned a modern, double action top-break big bore revolver! There is nothing quite so cool - historical - intriguing and practical all at once. Something in stainless .45 LC OR .44 special or maybe (drool) a .50!

Beretta:

That CX4 Storm in .22lr
Model 87 Cheetah (.22lr) in stainless
Model 950 (.22) short in stainless

Glock or H&K:

A top quality, tactile pistol in .22lr
