May purchase one with in the next week, and I have some questions for those who own one. How well does the Hostile Environment finish hold up to daily carry? How long have you owned yours and would you recommend it over other brands? What are some good IWB holsters for this gun- preferably Kydex? What is a fair price for a NIB specimen with two 13 round magazines and stock sights?

I have owned several Glocks and some SIG’s and really want to try out the USPc as the v1 mode seems very versatile to me.

I've had a USPc in .40 since they were introduced. The HE finish has withstood backpacking, daily carry, cleaning, and storage. It still looks very good, not new, but good.

I do recommend the USP compact over many other pistol the same size. I believe it has many desirable features--the ability to carry cocked and locked, the safety like a 1911, the ability to carry hammer down and DA first shot, the ambi mag release...

It is an accurate pistol. It is reliable, the only malfunctions I have had were due to underpowered reloads.

It is a comfortable pistol to shoot. I can only imaging the 9mm version is even more tame.

The capacity is not one of the areas it stands out. It is good, but not great when compared to the Glock 19 and SIG 250.

For holsters I can highly recommend the Comp-tac MTAC. Very comfortable and usually arrives within a week of ordering.

I've seen these new for as much as $800 and as little as $600 on deep sale.

It's a very neat pistol from a design standpoint and very easy to shoot well.

I gave my first one to my dad, and missed it ever since. So I'm currently awaiting a replacement to reach my FFL. :)

They are nice guns. I've seen them as low as 575 over at hkpro forums so you can find them at fairly resonable prices.

HK USPc 9mm

One of our local shops retail them at $749 w/ night sights and 3 13 round mags. I just recently traded for a new one with this dealer. I've ran 150 rounds so far with no issues. Trying to get used to the sight picture on this weapon. It fits my hand well and I also like the cocked & locked feature as well as the decocker. Looking for a suitable holster myself.
