I've been looking at these in .45 LC and thought one might match up with my .45 LC SAA. Does anyone have experience, or know anything, about them?

best,

I bought the classic in .45 Colt recently. Nice little carbine. I've only shot one load through it so far, a plated 200 grain SWC over Trail Boss at about 900 fps. shoots about 1-1/8" at 50 yards from a rest. I haven't experimented with it much, so I think it can do better.
My eyes don't focus like they used to, so I put a Williams peep rear and a Lyman #20 globe front sight on it.
The wood is very nice and the steel butt plate is curved in two directions which helps to prevent bite. The trigger is very good for a Handi rifle, better than my older 30-30/.357 Handi.
CDNN has them pretty cheap right now, you can't go wrong for under $250.

Thanks for the replies. They both look great to me and each one has it's good points. I think I'll get the carbine first, because I have quite a bit of the .45 LC on hand, but I REALLY would like to get the rifle later.

best,
jr
