Do a search on THR for "Ruger AND Hakan" - you might be surprised what you find.... look for 45R's post.

Silk purse grips on a sows ear gun. Imagine those on a high polish blue colt. My sense of balance is thrashed

Hakan, those Buckeye Burlwood grips...

in an Officer's ACP size, for this little guy, is that a possibility?

Not to offend Bigjim's sensibilities, but I think they would look wonderful against the parkerizing of my Caspian. :D

Gewehr98,

I think it would be a KILLER match...but I don't have any more of the same type of wood.It was a very limited amount...sorry.

Maybe if you find the wood yourself and send them over,I'll be glad to turn them into a fine set of grips for your Officer's size Caspian.Source of the wood is over there :D

Let me know if you're willing to do such thing :)

Regards,

Hakan.

In reference to all of the questions about pricing...

Hakan's prices vary by the grip type, features, and wood used.

My grips were made out of his last two pieces of Cali buckeye burlwood, and I originally asked for half of each grip to have stipling on it. He quoted me one price and sent me a picture of the wood to make certain that it met my approval. As soon as I saw the wood I realized that I no longer wanted them to be stipled, so I told him. He lowered the price quote accordingly.

I am not certain that Hakan would wish for me to tell you what he charged me, so I will not. Email him with the details as far as what type of gun you have, and what wood/features you want, and he will give you a price quote.

And one more time to you, Mr. Pek, THANK YOU!!!
