Have we reached a saturation point of semi-auto rifles? Has the economy and unemployment, and the number of avaialble rifles come to be like the automobiles sitting in car dealer lots? I am not in the market for any more defensive rifles. Ammo, yes. Rifles, no. What say you?

Well good for me, as I now want some semi's. Too bad prices aren't what they were in the 80's tho.

Unfortunately, I also need to save money.

To an extent yes. There's always a number of dealers who stock up on the wrong side of the curve. But if you're expecting $400 AR's soon then you're going going to be dissapointed.

I also have seen some AR's in the $500 something range in Shotgun news but some what sub quality I'm sure. If ya just want a plinker not a bad deal.

Sure,

barring crap rifles:

Complete Rock River lower = $125 off of TFL (purchased last month)

Complete DPMS upper from these guys for $375

http://www.jsesurplus.com/

$125+375 = $500

Or if I want all new I can get the Delton kit + receiver for $540

(The uppers were $350, after Thanksgiving. They just raised the price)
