I want a leather scabbard holster preferably with a thumb-break for cocked n' locked carry.

I can't find anything for the compact 75 other than plastic stuff like Fobus.

Anybody got a link?

I ordered a Bianchi Black Widow belt slide holster from Cheaper than Dirt last week, it should arrive tomorrow. It looks like what you are describing, costs $39, looks good. It is described as being for the CZ-75, but since it is open-ended it will work for both.

I have (and LOVE) the Gould & Goodrich "Yaqui Paddle" holster, made specifically for the 75 compact & compact PCR (which incidentally has different dimensions in the dust cover area than a full-sized 75). It's this one:

BUT - but, right now that website does not show that it's offered for ANY CZ pistols, for some reason - I would call them and see if they have any lying around for the 75 compact, if the situation is that they discontinued for this model. Highly recommended if you can locate one.

Ooooo, just noticed that - as I said, different dimensions - for some reason the 75 compact is quite a bit thicker in the dust cover part of the frame than the full sized 75, so likely it will NOT fit (not if it's a well-molded holster, it won't). Sorry NG VI, to burst your bubble - maybe you can return it? Or maybe you have a 75 to carry in it? :) Well, you said open-ended - hmmmm....if you can squeeze the dust cover *through* the holster to where it's out and hanging in air, then it might work (i.e. if it's a yaqui style where only the trigger guard is "grabbed" by the holster. If all or even just the rear of th dust cover is grabbed, you'll be out of luck). Hopefully it will work - please let us know.

P.S. Gould & Goodrich also has the 'standard' Paddle holster, fully enclosing the gun, in addition to the Yaqui, in 2 submodels and 2 colors:

Standard and "Comfort" in brown or black. The comfort is described as being:
More comfortable for women or full-bodied men.

But once again, not showing as available for any CZs.

Just measured my two CZ75s, and both are idendical at 1.002, at the dust covers. A full size holster will work. The PCR, is wider, being alloy:)

PCR is wider you say! Well how much lighter is a PCR compared to a Compact? I mean felt, noticed weight. I will go check specs now, but if the Compact is not noticably heavier then maybe it would be best for me to get an all steel compact instead. that way when I eventually have a fullsize 75 or 85 I will have some even more cross compatible holsters.

Just looked at the CZ-USA site, and the PCR is definitely lighter by an appreciable amount. Width is the same, but for some reason the PCR is listed as being 5.3 inches tall versus the 5 inch tall Compact. Is that true or just a case of slightly incomplete information on the site?

Width is the same

Over all width is measured at the grip on the CZs, which is the same on all. The PCRs frame is wider by I believe .100, which makes it not fit custom holsters. Milt Sparks makes holsters for the CZ75 compact, CZ75 fullsize, and P01.... But not the PCR. The PCR I believe has the Rubber mag base, like the P01, and gives it a taller height spec.:)

The PCR and P-01 fits great in holsters designed for the Sig P228. I carry my PCR in a Bianchi Shadow II designed for the P228/P229.

I have a Bianchi Model 100 professional. No thumb break but I am happy with cocked and locked carry for it. If you must have a thimb break check out their 6D

Agreed. I do the same. However, the OP wants to carry a compact model cocked and locked. I am unsure if the thumbbreak strap would be able to pass between the cocked hammer and the slide, or if it would go over the cocked hammer. It is possible it might need some trimming.
