Help me find this "comprehensive" gun web site...

I recall reading a post - maybe here, but might have been on another board - where someone wanted all the members to post info and pics of every gun they had until we pretty much had every possible gun out there. A few people responded with links to websites that pretty much already did that. I remember following a couple of the links and reading for about an hour or more. I can't believe I didn't book mark them!!

Can anyone suggest a web site that has basic info on just about every gun ever made!?

Hah! You're definitely right on that! I am a member of several boards and this is clearly the best on the web!! However, the sites I am referring to were not discussion-type sites but simply a - I guess "catalog" would be a good term to describe it.

You could, for example, pull up "Smith & Wesson", go to a sub catagory like "Revolver" and pretty much see every style of wheel gun S+W makes - or has made - ever!

I think this website has a lot of useful, if not spelled correctly, information on just about any and all guns made in the last 100 years. I have often used it to try and identify guns seen in movies, takes a while, but I have found most I was looking for.
