I Will be getting a 22/45 or mark111 and would like to put a scope ,red dot sight ect on it.
Its getting harder to shoot with my eye sight.dont want anything too big and want something that Will stay at zero.
I was looking at a tasco red dot scope.
I also want to stay under 80 bucks.

I share your "old eyes" situation and I think you'll be please with a red-dot for your Ruger .22 pistol. I can't help with specific suggestions as I went with a Ultradot Matchdot II on my Mk.III and they are currently retailing for just over $200. ;)

I ended up buying a tasco red dot. The one good for recoil up to a 357.
I will try it oj my 10/22 first because I don't have my 22 handgun yet

I have to agree with Hentown, it's had to beat the TRS-25. Bought it on Amazon for $75.00.

I found a NOS Tasco Pro-Point (green/red dot) at my local gun shop. I found I prefer the green dot over the red dot for pin-shooting. It is up on a B-Square mount (also used from another shop). I didn't know if I would like the 'red-dot' or not and I did not want to drill and tap the Mark II pistol.. Turns out I do like it, a lot. YMMV.
