everyone voting for the AK must not have fired an M1.

I admit that. I would love to try a Garand but they are too expensive for me.

They are opening a gunstore near me soon. You can see their website at www.triadgunsource.com . I can see that they rent handguns but I see no mention of renting out rifles.

I emailed the owner & he said that if all goes according to plan, they should be open in June of this year. I'll see if I can rent a Garand there then.

Accurate, classic, piece of history. AK's will be around forever in one form or another.
