Just got this in today. For those who are unfamiliar, this is a handmade micro bowie from the kamis at Himalayan Imports.

It has an overall length of 8 5/8", blade is a little over 3.5" long and 1.5" wide. This little monster is almost a quarter inch thick. The handle is smooth horn and I believe the steel is 5160. Sheath is leather wrapped wood.

Anyways, here's some pics:

Feels great in the hand. Will be my new edc:)

You'll need to test it, to be sure it's got a good HT. Instructions in HI BF.

The kami making these is really good at it. I have a 15", 12", 10" and Micro by him. Good hard sweet spot around 58 rockwell at a guess. Easy to sharpen but takes a good amount of abuse.

I used my 10" bowie to hack a 1.5" deep notch across a pressure treated 2x12 because it was the only thing i had that was short enough yet massive enough to give the board a good thump.

I carry my Micro in a back pocket sheath. It's a little big for general chores as most of what I need a knife for is little stuff like trimming my daughter's drinking straw at a fast food place (lil scary for that;)). However, when we go on our daddy daughter hikes, the Mirco is my carry knife. It gives me a nice stout pointer to show her bugs and bust open rotten logs to find other creepy crawlers.
At home it's a very, very, very well worn HI JKM-1. She tells me to "go get your bug knife!". Anyway, I digress.

The micro AKB is a great user. Very handy and robust.
