I noticed it, too. I'm going to start the official HK 1911 rumor...HK will be manufacturing their own 1911 clone. It happened with the M-4, it could be true with the 1911.

How can I get a job like that? Not necessarily with HK, but I think it'd be cool being one of the dudes in the black polo shirts that did all the weapons testing.

Its not a rumor. HK has a very low priority 1911 project. I think all their effort is in the XM-8 right now.

Do you have a legitimate source to comfirm that? I don't think "defensivereview.com" counts, seeing as they declared the USMC was adopting the Glock 37 and .45GAP cartridge .
