Hogue Swivels with M1907/USGI Sling?

I wonder if anyone here has tried a pair of 1 1/4" Hogue swivels with either a leather M1907 sling or a cotton or nylon USGI sling?

It seems like sometimes the slings are a bit too big to go through 1 1/4" swivels even though they are supposed to. The Hogue swivels look super heavy duty so I thought I might give them a shot. Thanks.

I have used them with a 1.25" nylon super sling with no issues.

Thanks for the input. The Hogue swivels seem to be a physically superior design to typical swivels and they are inexpensive. How do you like them? Thanks again.

1. They are quiet compared to metal swivels.

2. They are kind of a nuisance to take on and off as the threads get really tight ( a good thing).

3. Tight fit with a leather sling. My repro 1907 (brass hooks) worked, the hardware from my DPMS version (thicker steel hooks) doesn't fit through.
