I am looking to buy a concealed carry holster and was wondering which holster lining would cause the least wear on my semi?

Cardboard.

Seriously, if you don't want your gun to acquire honest "work-wear," then you need to keep it in the cardboard box it came in.

ALL linings will cause wear. Some faster than others, but in the long run, they're all pretty much the same. But it does depend on how often you work with your carrygun. If very little, then a suede lining will wear the finish the least....(at first)

Personally, I look forward to wearing off the finish of my serious guns by using them!

I agree. Your carry gun should show wear from carry and training.
NO!!!!!!1!1
We must keep all guns in pristine condition, only handle with kid gloves and store them in crushed velvet to prevent the slightest wear!'

Hey, what garage will keep my car from getting road rocks?

At one time, the better quality or class of IWB Holsters were lined with Chamois or sometimes Velveteen.

I do not know of any brands that have that kind of class today though.

Tucker Gunleather has a lined model, it will still wear a gun, the grit in a leather holster is what wears the finish, as much as the leather itself.

Wear-free carry guns are a pipedream
