Hornady .45 FTX

Have any of you used the .45 FTX before? I was wondering what load you used for them. My hornday and nosler manuals don't have load data for the FTX.

Just curious.

What caliber are you talking about?

Hornady makes .45 cal FTX in 200 grain for .460 S&W, 225 grain for .45 Colt handguns, and 325 grain for 45-70/450 Marlin.

I am looking for the .45 ACP which isn't listed in terms of load data yet, but is on the market.

To my knowledge, the 185 grain .451" .45 ACP Critical Defense FTX bullet is not available for handloaders, so there is not going to be any data for it.

The three FTX bullets I listed above are the only ones you can buy for reloading.
One is for .460 S&W Magnum.
One is for .45 Colt & .450 Bushmaster rifles.
One is for 45-70 rifles.

Hornady isn't selling the .451 FTX (critical defense) bullets as components right now.

The .452 FTX bullets for sale are the LeverEvolution line.
