On a 1 to 10 scale, how bad is this ar barrel? This is my first complete build. Used inexpensive components, (in case I screwed it up bad) and now have around 1000 rounds through it. Cleaned it after each 30 to 60 round range session. Used bore snakes, rod, brushes and patches with a clp( I like a product from Rand).
I just got the Teslong bore scope and (which I think is great) and "whoaaa baby", am I in for a lot of work?

It is, as you say, a cheap barrel. I don't think that's really bad copper fouling, but if you want, you can probably clean it out of there by repeated applications of a really good foaming bore cleaner. BreakFree makes one that works well. A good copper solvent would work too. Or, you could use some JB Bore paste. CLPs rarely do anything to remove copper fouling.

The posts above are on point. If it's shooting well, there's no need to do anything at all to it.
