For the folks here who CCW a Kahr with spare mag(s)....how do you carry the spare mags? I carry an MK9, usually in the pocket, but spare mags for Kahrs seem to have the habit of ejecting rounds in the pocket. I have also tried nylon pouches with snug-fitting velcro flaps but somehow the mags keep ejecting rounds. How do you guys carry spare Kahr mags?

I've never lost a round out of my PM 40 magazines. And that's in a pocket with a knife and sometimes keys. What else is in your pocket? There are pocket holsters with mag carriers incorporated.

My kahr is in my IWB holster. I carry two mags in my right pocket inside a tight nylon pouch. Seems to stay together for me. I have not seen the same problem yet. I have been carrying about a year, CW9. Both mags in single pouch. I have three magazines and have not had trouble. I keep everything else out of the right pocket and phone in the left.

Pocket magazine holders?.....

Did you see the sticky holsters mag holders? They come in 1/2 type designs and can fit snug. I also would look at the well engineered DeSantis Nemisis pocket magazine holder. The synthetic sticky fabric works well.
I toted a DeSantis Nemisis pocket holster for my Taurus Protector revolver in the early 2000s. It doesn't fall out or shift around. It's light and easy to clean too.
Lint, sweat, grit etc slide right out rather than stick to your gun or pistol magazine.

I use a DeSantis Nemesis holster for my CM9. Spare mags are carried loose in my pocket; haven't had a problem with any rounds coming out of the mag.

I carry my extra pm9 mag in a desantis pocket mag holder. It's nice and slim.

The two methods I use and never had a problem are, a Double mag carrier with a Velcro flap, "I bought online, or at a show", around 5-10 dollars, or the pouches built into my K-Bar fanny pack that is very small and doesn't appear large enough to carry a weapon. Two mags fit sideways perfectly, and I have never dropped a round out of either, "but I do understand what you mean". For those who aren't familiar with the product, the rounds sit high and angular in the mag, and you can flick out a round easily.
A leather or Kydex double carrier would be a good investment, "made for those mags".

I bought the gun new in around 1999 and at the time there was some talk about rounds ejecting themselves from spare magazines. Whenever I have tried to carry a spare mag that has been my experience also. Since no one here has experienced the same thing I am wondering if they redesigned the magazines. Maybe I should buy a couple of new ones and see what happens.

Mine is a K9, spare mags are for the T9 with the appropriate baseplates, one carried loose in my otherwise empty weak side front pocket.

I do have a round work its way out every now and then. Seems to happen more often with my #2 mag than my #3. Also seems to happen more with my Dickies carpenter pants than my casual Wranglers.

I say "seems" because most of the time I carry my #2 mag, and wear carpenter pants...

I carry a CM9 daily in front right pocket. I always have a spare mag on my belt on the left side in a Leatherman pouch. In the 6 years I have been doing this, I have never been questioned about my "Leatherman" except twice asking to borrow it. Sometimes hiding in plain sight is the best way.

Also - have never had any problems with rounds accidentally coming out of the mag while in the Leatherman pouch.

Well they did change the 7 rounder, I got one from Midway last year, It was a Kahr Mag, and was more like a pierce extension only the same on both sides. It works great and having 8 rounds just feels better. I have 6 mags for mine, "it just ended up that way. I had one from a P9, and bought the 7 rounder, and the gun I bought from a cop friend who thought it was just too small, and had it sent back to have it tuned and polished before deciding to sell it with 4 mags.
Anyone who has one knows how hard it is to switch back to a full sized gun, when you can walk around the house all day and not even know it's there. I use a Remora for several years, and have never had a problem with the gun sliding or falling out, even when playing with my dog.

I have had my PM9 since late 04-early 05. Never had a problem with the spare (7-round) mag losing rounds, and I usually keep it in my off-side front pocket...occasionally in the back pocket. I have two seven=round mags and i swap back and forth between them. Also have a spare six-rounder that has never left the factory packaging.

I no longer carry Kahr but when I did, I carried my spare mags the same way I always have with every gun, on the belt in a mag pouch.

Horizontal mag pouch from SHTF Gear, about $20. Looks like a knife case and mag is pretty well covered. Carry bullets up and they don't come out. Don't see how rounds just pop out, top round tends to nosedive it is in there so tight.
