How much velocity is lost with porting

Hey guys I just bought a glock 17c. Got a good deal on it and I think the lower recoil and muzzle jump will help my bad wrist. My question is how much power loss does porting cause? Ten percent or more? Thanks for any info.

The loss is most definitely not worth worrying about. If you want a ported barrel go for it. It will generate more flash and blast though.

I hear ya about the muzzle blast drail, but I'm hoping that the 17c will be easier on my bad wrist.
