Should I sell it?
Should I just put it up?
Should I shoot it?

Shoot it or sell it, either one. Common Model 10 that some one fancied up with gold accents. Still a very serviceable firearm but other wise nothing to write home about.:)

Hi,

It's a Model 10 in .38 Special, the most popular revolver S&W ever produced. It began as the Model 1905 almost 110 years ago and they made ga-zillions of 'em . . . and for very, very good reason.

Later they called it the M&P and then later the Model 10 (starting when S&W started naming their models around 1956 or so).

It was the revolver equivalent of the modern Glock pistol to law enforcement for about 80 years or more!

Rare? Not hardly! And because of how common it is, this model will never command high prices, even for pristine specimens. Accurate . . . oh yes! Dependable? Absolutely! Obsolete today? Never!

Bottom line . . .

Sell it? Why? It is a very affordable and accurate handgun that you can bet your life on! EVERYONE needs at least one Model 10 (or M&P or 1905 Hand Ejector)! Most of us can't be happy with just one of these wonderful revolvers!!!

Put it up? Never . . . take it out and shoot it and have fun with it. You'll be amazed at what a nice trigger job it has vs. today's crunchy autos!

Here's a 1950-manufactured M&P model in original nickel plate with original "diamond" stocks. A gorgeous specimen but also a find shooter. I won a steel match in revolver class with this wonderful .38 Special revolver a few months ago when I took it to an area match.

Enjoy your Model 10!!!
