I just traded into a Howa 1500 Stainless 22-250 a couple hours ago.
I have to do something about a better stock. This one is a black plastic deal which is just a few notches above a Ram Line.
I will do a trigger job on it tomorrow.

You'll enjoy it, also, the trigger gets better as you shoot it, mine is still set at factory.

I reccomend the stock pack 100% to any bolt rifle shooter, It's very nice, holds 5 rounds on the outside, and has a zipper compartment for anything you want, ex: Load data, or a Ballistic card, even more ammo? a Dime for adjusting a scope..
Anyway, If you don't like the Hogue stock it's easy to replace, although mine works for me
I might replace it with a boyds or maybe a B&C, although, I'm trying for all A's to get a serious target rifle.

A Howa by another Name

I guess this one would qualify , its a Howa by another name ,My Mossberg 1700LS . It's a 270 and the stock was just to sweet to take out so with a little searching I found an old stock Bell & Carlson syn. camo stock. now I can use it Gotta love 'em by any name ~~ GH50

my buddy just got a M1500 setup in 270. I didn't really know what to think about Howas until i shot his. I'll prob be getting one soon in 308.
