Just won my first Gunbroker auction. A 1981-made Marlin 336 in .30-30. Pretty excited about it, but want to make sure I don't screw up the next few steps... The seller has over 4100 ratings and an A+ so I'm not really concerned... Just anxious since it's my first ever online gun purchase. Do I need to do anything specific before submitting my official payment?

Yeah, I phrased that wrong. Mostly was just excited to have won, but anxious having never bought a gun online before.

Pay the guy as per his instructions on the auction site. I've bought many guns on the interweb without a single problem. And congratulations on the Marlin. I have one, it's a great firearm.
