I have in my possession an AR 5.7, the upper with a fifty round magazine that fires the FN 5.7 round. It retails for $695. I don't have any needs for the round or upper...as I purchased the rifle for the lower, stock and accessories.

Would a Glock 27, magazines, 300 rounds of ammo, holsters, original carry case, great condition make sense for trade?

I own an G23 among others and love glocks.

Sounds fair. You could probably buy all those things for $695 or less but if you've already got the upper and don't use it but would use the glock then I'd say go for it.

Keep in mind if you don't have another upper you'll be spending another hunk of cash for one or have half an AR. Seems like uppers are still priced a little high around here but hopefully they'll be back to pre-hysteria levels soon.

It sounds like a decent trade, only because I see those 5.7 uppers at all the gunshows and after talking with several dealers, I don't think they're selling that many of them. Somewhat pricey, and along with the ammo, not a big seller right now. So you get a great pistol, 6 boxes of ammo, and a few other extras. Seems to be a win/win deal to me.

I'd trade. If you have no use for the upper anyway, the Glock will sell much quicker if you need cash. And it's a good gun.
