A buddy of mine at work came to own a Turkish Huglu 501 semiauto shotgun. During a duck hunt, he let loose with three and when he moved his hand on the fore end, he noticed that it was cracked. Upon further inspection, the crack was bad enough that before he got home, it completely fell apart.

Anyone know of a source for a replacement fore end? Looking on the usual sites, I came up empty. Is there a more common name brand gun that the Huglu is patterned off of, that he can get the stock set from?

The pictures on the internet kinda look like a Beretta.

He speaks of the beauty of the stock walnut, but having a synthetic replacement wouldn't be out of the question. He would rather have a functional synth than a beauty in the gun case.

CZ Arms bought out Huglu a couple of years ago.(not sure when)They put a
5year warrenty on ALL there guns..Have your freind check it out.
I've had some repair work done by them a number of years ago and they did a nice job and a quick turn-around time..
