Where the Army puts me
In the past 2months or I got bit by the AR bug again. I sold some of my bolt guns and bought a new bushmaster MoE, used S&W sport, used RRA, started building an SBR, and got on cheaperthandirt and ordered a BcM mod2. Well the BCM fell through between my shop and CTD. So I order a CMMG 16" mid-length CHF 1:7 barrel with all FDE MOE hardware on it. I got it home today tore it apart and cleaned it and I must say I really like it. Trigger feels good, weight feels good, and i have some parts on the way already. I will post pictures and give a range report next week for now I'm going on leave.

Great rifles. I live about 1 1/2 hours from them, and they are the nicest folks. Very helpful, and they make wonderful products. Congrats buddy.

I own a CMMG dedicated .22LR upper and it's a very fine piece - reliable and extrememly accurate.

I've only heard good things about their other products, and by all accounts, their customer service is second-to-none.

Went out to the range today with dad and shot about 300rds. Using only iron sights I was very pleased with my new rifle. Recoil was that of a ruger 10/22 or less due to the mid-length gas system and a spike's ST-T2 buffer. At 35yds groups were 2" with about 40rds fired. At 100yrds using a 10" target with a 1 1/2" bullseye I hit the bull 5times out of 15rds group was about 8". NOTE: A 10" target at 100yds the target is about as wide as my front sight post. When I got home my new Aimpoint sight and scope mount was on my door step woohoo. My only complaint about the rifle is the BCG I believe it's teflon coated I'm not sure but if you have a round in the chamber its very hard to pull the charging handle to the rear to remove the round. Also the gas ring isn't the normal 3ring set up its more like a coil. I cleaned the BCG when I got home and scrubbed the crap out of it with a wire brush and coated it with CLP which seems to make it operate a lot smoother but it's still getting replaced with a BCM BCG. All in all the rifle worked flawlessly I enjoyed it very much and it's mos def a keeper.

Thanks buddy, Shot a record 14rds in 1.99sec 10" group at 10yds. Going back out with the new trigger, scope and havier match grade bullets this weekend and see if it can't go 600+ yards.

That's really good, actually. Figure the nominal human chest is around 15" wide, and you my friend have ten rounds into an assailant before he hits the ground. Nice.

I think I have 5 CMMGs if you count the (2) .22s. Don't know about customer support because I have never had a problem with any of mine.
