I had a dream last night that I was in a sticky situation. The reason I bring it up is because it was one of those dreams that seemed extremely real at the time and as a result of my choices in the dream, my friend got killed. Anyway, It's hard to explain how the situation played out so I made a lame little graphic for you:

This took place in a parking lot at night. FOr some reason two people were arguing in the middle row and I saw the killer shoot and kill the first victim...apparently someone he knew. I heard another person farther down in my row scream. The killer walked into the middle of the area where cars drive and yelled that he was going to kill the person who screamed because they had witnessed the crime. After the killer fired he started making his way toward my friend and I who were outside of my car. He hadn't seen us yet. I decided to tell my friend to get in the car. For some reason when we started moving, I turned right and tried to run down the shooter. He shot at us and killed my friend through the windshield.

My question is, what would you do if this situation were real? I know it was just a dream and all but I know that that wasn't the best decision. Actually it wasn't a decision at all...it was like watching a movie. Anyway, have at it...

If he had already shot those people and was leaving....stay out of his way and call the police. After he leaves, try to help those he shot.

I would do whatever I could to help that second victim, but after the deed is done there isn't much you can do to help, especially if the bad guy is leaving the scene.

If I felt I had to kill him, rather than run him over I would probably have elected to just shoot him.

Yeah he wasn't leaving in the dream but he hadn't seen me so he wasn't directly a threat to ME yet (stupid legal crap). I guess I could assume that he WOULD kill me if he were to find me. Also, I don't think I had a gun in my dream.

Side note: I don't know why that my dreams are never stacked in my favor haha. If I had my way in the dream I'd have my friend open up on him with supressing fire while I call in an airstrike...of course since it's my dream, the napalm wouldn't harm me.

*siiigh*

Dunno, just a dream. Actually, last night I had a dream I was being held hostage or something by 8 Mafia-type guys or something. Shot 3 of them with my SP-101, before running out of ammo (why didn't I have my Glock? Why didn't I have a speedloader?). Pulled open the nearest one's coat (he was dead), and grabbed his gun, some kind of fancy custom 1911, and two spare mags. But the mags were empty, and the gun had an empty chamber when I checked. Racked the slide, then had to disengage the safety for some reason. Shot at the remaining guy (the others had disappeared, maybe ran away), but nothing seemed to be happening. Plus the recoil of the gun was extremely light, and it would jam about every second shot. Charged at the guy, and fired my last round into his face at contact range. The bullet bounced off, so I started beating his head in with the gun, which had mysteriously turned into an H&K Mk. 23 instead. I think he was armed with an H&K USP.

Conclusion: .45s suck. The bullets just bounce off, and they jam all the time. My dream told me so. :neener:

In reality: try not to be noticed by the killer until said killer has left, then render what aid I can to those who have been shot.

In dreams: Since my dreams are usually lucid at this point in my life, said killer gets to be on the receiving of Dark Force lighting that shoots from my fingers.

dreams that is all they are

In real life you have to make decisions in a split second run, kill, or die. you don't get second opions. That doesn't take away from the reality of your dreams; however, your dreams represent your subconscious fears of reality.

learn from your dreams so they don't become reality. At the same time the future is and can only be changed by the decisions you make now.

Don't take me to serious unless it makes sense to you.
Then rethink your decision before you act on on it!!!!

Shoot the killer for the safety of society

Well if in your dream you did have a gun, I think I would have just shot and killed him if you were a good enough shot, even if it did appear he was leaving. You never know what he'll do next.

The reason: Because if you call police there's a good chance he won't be caught. Think about Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and many other serial killers who weren't necessarily that smart, but just had certain serial killer lifestyles, who the police didn't really have enough evidence to do anything until too much damage was done, because these killers just kept denying they were guilty (yes Dahmer admitted to some when he was put on probation, but he didn't admit that he was going to kill the person, but remember later when the Milwalkee Police turned over that 14 year old drugged out boy back to him and later that night Dahmer killed him and painted his skull?). Quite a few murders that are found never have a murder convicted for what happened. LE has good forensic science, but it often still lets criminals through the cracks. If you don't know who this guy is, what's the chances he'll be caught unless his next murder is linked to this one? If you get his license plate number, the police may just find that it's a stolen car because that's what serial killer psychopaths do quite often. By killing the killer in the parking lot, you help society out. As much as I don't like the thought of killing someone else, it's better that he lose his life than for a bunch of innocent people to die later on.
