In the next 4 months, I'd be interesting to buy 4 different pistols.
So far I have GLOCK 17, and HK P2000 LEM 9mm (I already have the 40).
I would like to get two additional on top of those two before 2008 hits.
I'm interested in high quality pistols only, so no 1911 or sig.

What do you have for me? Also, does the availability of lifetime warranty influence your purchase towards a pistol?

Let me get this straight: you're interested in high quality, but you don't want a sig...or a 1911? Uh...from my own experiences, you can spell high quality S-I-G S-A-U-R. And a Colt series 70 or before...wow, just wow.

Your high quality glock costs about 60 bucks to manufacture. Maybe you'd like a nice high point...

I read this and thought to myself--If you don't have anything nice to say.. But then I thought Glock High Quality-WHAT THE &*((? Glocks are OK but when I think high quality I sure don't think Glock. Several custom 1911's come to mind but not a GLOCK! Jeebus! If a glock is a high quality gun then a Yugo must be better than a Bentley!

+1 to Heavy Metal. May I also offer Lorcin as a possible suggestion. I've also got an American Bulldog if your into fine Antique weapons.

Did I read that correctly or am I missig something? I'm appalled. I really don't know what to tell you if you think that Sigs or 1911s are trash.

Oh, okay, I get it. He wants a plasma pistol! :p

Did you perhaps mean to say "polymer pistols only" or "high capacity pistols only" instead of "high quality pistols only"?

That aside what do you want from the other two pistols? The first two are definetly high capacity, but also full size service pistols. Do you want two more high capacity pistol? Two compact carry pistols? One compact plus one other high capacity? Can they be metal, or do you want polymer only?

If you want compact poly then I'd look at the Kel-Tec P3AT & PF-9, any Kahr P series, or the new Walther PPS. If you like compact metal then a NAA Guardian; or a Rohrbaugh or Seecamp if you've got deep pockets. A Glock 26 which can feed from its bigger G19 and G17 brothers' magazines would be a good idea.

Segway, the Glock 19 is an excellent intermediate size pistol. A Browning Hi-Power also fits that role nicely. The CZ P01, Rami, and 75 Compact are great in this category as well. A Walther P99 or a 4" XD shouldn't be overlooked either in this size format.

If you wan't larger size then a longslide Glock (34 or 35), a CZ 75 or SP01, Beretta 92 (or 96), XD Tactical, or Ruger P Series are great buys encompassing a wide price range.

Obviously there's some size overlap in the last two categories, but hopefully that gives you some food for thought.

No

Too bad you don't like Sigs, they may be one of the highest quality 9mms out there.

Look into the Browning High Power or Beretta 92.

BWAAA HAAAA HAAAA

Hey gudel You might want to clarify your self, before your tared and feathered.
Just a thought, mate.

Think we have a great fisherman among us, as he reeled in a lot of catches with that unfounded statement..

I believe your opinion of quality might be a shade skewed. rofl.gif
Please, don't drink and post at the same time - It confuses us! puke.gif

You know, I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, and also to learn something everytime I can. My first reaction to this thread was 'don't feed the troll', but Gudel has been around THR for 4+ years and has 3 times as many posts as me. So I decided to do a little research and see if I could learn something from him.

I learned that Gudel has LOTS of different guns, not just Glocks and HKs, and that he had a problem with a Sig he owned that probably soured him on them. I also learned in this thread that he lives in California and in this thread I learned that he visited Dallas and intended to purchase 33 round Glock mags.

So, now I know that Gudel has lots of gun experience with a wide range of manufacturers and his opinions are formed from a mindset that also finds it acceptable to leave an internet trail about felonies he intends to commit.
