Latest acquisition. US Army Tribute Colt Model 1851 Navy Percussion. Part of the American Military Colt Collection, that was produced in 1984 by the American Historical Foundation. There were U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps tribute revolvers also produced as part of the collection. This one is made from a C Series 2nd Generation Colt Percussion revolver that was originally made in 1977. Gun is gold plated except for the screws, wedge, trigger and hammer. This one is # 20 of 100 Army Tribute revolvers produced.:cool:

I'm with you Fingers. That is one beautiful revolver. My C series 1851's are some of my most prized.

Yep - couldn't agree more. My first BP Revolver was a Uberti, and although its a good shooter, there's just something about having an actual Colt. Over the years I have acquired 4 of the 2nd Generations and 2 of the Signature Series. Three of them currently sport elephant ivory.
