Happy Unwanted G rumbles

Lately most days I feel I have been pushing a chain up hill. My company hs been bought "m" by a very large company "H" and as a distributor of "m", not actuall employee, we have been wondering what "H" is going to do with us?????? MY office should have 8 people in it, we have 3 and a troglodyte. lucky me the trog is done Thurs.

I have just realized my 586 needs work, needs timed, and I want a NEF in 357, gotta get some 357 158gr LSWC, Need more 357 cases, wanna get a S&W in 22lr,

Your fussing about loosing some Paper work I am missing a $6000 infusion pump and I have 3 ventilators that might get investigated by FDA and JAHACO.

:D :D :D :D
At least you get to shoot class 3 stuff and fondle guns most days. I wish I could just do that part time.

I'm with Daddy. Our work is a pain in the butt. We have tons of stuff to do and not enough time to do it. Then we end up sitting at the computer on THR all day and wonder why we don't get anything done.

I still can't get my family of Rugers to grow. I want a Ruger like my dad's for Jon, but can't since rent is due. I also wish to start a family of Glocks, but again rent is due. Haven't gone shooting for almost a month and only have 18 rounds for my CCW!!!!!!!

Wish there was more time, less work and more play. Oh well. Wish I could work at a gun shop. Still I wish I could be a model and pose for Oleg while fondeling lots of nice guns too. (I will eventually, but still don't have time.)

I've got to agree with ducktapehero, any day that no one's shooting a 122mm rocket or two at you is a good day. 'Cuz, trust me, when they shoot a couple at you, it makes for a interesting day.

i have found it quite envigorating to answer the phone
as if you are working at a call center in Pakistan

when i tire of this ploy
i revert to Samurai Help desk

wow, wild didnt even mention the dozens of phone calls from customers asking "is it here yet?? is it here yet???"

OEF_VET - I hear ya, good buddy! Even better when they're coming in en masse off a ZIL... the communist cure for constipation!

Memories... :what:  :D

A Manly Man hug for you, Wild Alaska, ala "Soprano's Sunday Family Dinner" style.

Would anyone accuse Tony Soprano of being "Light in the Loafers"?

Hang in there Wild. We've all had days like that and unfortunately we'll all have more of them. But then again everyonce in a while someone comes by and makes our day. Hope that person comes in for you today.

Sorry your having a good day...BUT you do get to play with full-auto's so NUH!!:D

I dont have customers screaming at me very often...what normally happens on my end is the retailers catching an attitude...

That or when I goto the range just to test a new design...THATS always a good day...the "range ninja's" just seem to always be there when I get there and always want to lend a hand..."HELPING" me by trying to tell me how crappy leather is and EVERYONE knows that kydex is being held down by the BIG holster manufacturers...lol.....I try to educate them to an certain extent because they are fellow shooters...but after a time it just doesnt pay to goto a public range during the afternoon....I just nod at what they say and try and concentrate on what I am doing...Of course being able to curse someone in 3 languages does come in handy every now and then as well!:D

Some of the guys that shoot where I do are GOLD in my book...they take time out of there "fun" to play with the leather that I brought with me and tell me what they think...Plus when you get a couple of shooters making fun of the "range Ninja's" it tends to lighten the mood a bit:D

But I digress....WILD...Take one of those cannons that you guys make and blast something to pieces...works for me everytime:D

You just hafta look over people's ignorance;

We are all ignorant just on different subjects!

BUT WHEN SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR GOOD NATURE...............THAT"S DIFFERENT!!!

I hear ya Wild! I build hotrods and restore muscle cars for a living and it`s the same way! Sure folks think it`s great...."You just put a nitrous system on a 427 Camaro and now you have to test drive it,yeah your job`s real tough! ;) ". Just like working on a gunshop must be so cool and easy right? Ha! They don`t have to put up with all the "suckage",fixing stuff people hacked, people with $10,000 budgets who want $60,000 cars built and "I have a `61 Dodge in "showroom condition" (that means it`s not currently on fire),what`s it worth?". Things are tough all over, even when you work with cool stuff...doh. :banghead: I dunno about a hug but I know where yer comin from. ;) Marcus

I have one word for you W.A.

Tannerite !!!

I used to work with a guy who, if he was having a bad day, would answer my "How's it goin'?" with, "I need to blow sumpin' up!" :D

I know it always makes me feel better.

I pray to Him What Made Me that I never lose a gun in shipment while I have my FFL.

That constitutes a bad day at work no doubt about it.

Kinda like my bad day earlier this year when I didn't get a down and locked indication on the main gear. Did you know that when you dump many thousands of pounds of JP-8 above a certain altitude it never hits the ground?

We did a straight-in approach, the gear stayed extended during the full-stop, 4 thrust-reverser landing roll. Sapporo never tasted so good. :p

Gewehr98,

Kinda like my bad day earlier this year when I didn't get a down and locked indication on the main gear.

Heh. I remember nights when one of our Cessna 310's wouldn't get three greens. I'd grab a handset radio from the FBO, hop on the tug, go tooling out the taxiway past the rows of glowing green eyes belonging to mildly intersted coyotes, and park in the middle of the runway as the Cessna twin flew low enough overhead to blow my ball cap off with prop wash just so I could reassure the pilot that everything looked cool from down here... (Damn defective gear indicator switches... :scrutiny: )

Ah, those were the days. :D

Oh no...dont be blaming this on ME...if i remember correctly, YOU havent told me which chris reeve knife you WANT.. :neener:
