Sport Shooters Rights Restoration Act Of 2003

This bill would restore the rights of citizens, security guards, competitors, collectors and individual police officers to obtain and own newly manufactured machine guns as defined and controlled by the National Firearms Act Of 1934.

Title 18 United States Code ,Chapter 44 Firearms Section 922 "Unlawful Acts" is amended to strike subsection "(o)" which prohbits the transfer and possession of post-1986 machine guns by civilians and security guards.

Legislation is simple:
Strike all of 18USC sections 921, 922; fix the definition of militia wherever it is, and get rid of all supporting/related legislation and executive rules (anyone have a link to a table of anti-RKBA Executive Orders and what each of them does?), and agencies (firearms branch of the BATF).

If you can get or can dream about congressional support to roll back the NFA, there's probably support to roll back everything since then (except maybe the not-so-instant check).

Although taxation and laws against drugs are both ill-conceived, there are fundamental differences between mechanical devices and drugs like alcohol and nicotine that change how people think, and drugs deserve separate consideration. Leaving the rest of the BATF in place should not be seen as vindication of most of its activities.
