I have seen alot of post with trivia and pics and people try to figure out this or that so here is my stab at it!

I have no idea who the maker of this holster is, probally some no name company. But the question is...... can anybody guess where I got the holster, and who i bought it from? i will give you a hint it fits the glock 19.

this should be fun!

Hard to see the belt attachment, is it a paddle style?
By the looks of it, it could have been either, or maybe one of those 2 in 1 deals. it has three atachment points where a paddle could be attached, and I think that is the way it originally came. not quite sure, but very possible.

Now even the holsters have tac-rails?
crazy huh? I am pretty sure that is there for the looks, i can't imagine it being actually functional. unlike the springfield armory holsters. which rails are fully functional for lights and lasers.

the thumb break is a pretty neat design, when engaged a plastic piece covers the rear of the reciever. by pressing rearward on the button, it rotates the plastic piece foward and allows the pistol to be drawn.

Ok, I'm as good at taking SWAG's (Silly Wild As Guess') as anyone else.

Looks like some type of a holster made for the Iraqi security forces's G19's. Are those 3 male snaps that attach this rig to a vest or thigh rig?

I like the Safariland like Thumb detent to swivel the safety hood down.

Good job Rob62. That is exactly what it is and Iraq is where i got it from off some Iraqi policeman. I traded him, a little american made knife, worth squat but he though it was a good trade so i did it. I just got it for the momento aspect never expect to use it just something to have that not everyone has one of!

that is for sure!

Actually I cheated in IDing the holster. But that was another life a while back. ;) And if I told you how I would have to cut off your head and lock it in a safe. :D

I bet if you posted it FS over on Glocktalk you would get quite a bit of $$ for it. Not a lot of these holsters floating around the US.

From what I understand these holsters were issued almost as soon as the G19's were. I never did find out who made them but I sure do like 'em.
