Uhoh, I better go tell my local gun shop its illegal to sell them ak-47's and SKA's, they could get in trouble! :rolleyes:

So a cartridge that holds 30 rounds......sounds like almost like a shotgun shell to me, maybe their hinting at some Saiga's?

That has got to be one of the worst so-called "news" stories I've ever read.
 
This could be used as a "How To" lesson is creating propaganda. Goebbels would be proud of these writers.

An object lesson in why the majroity of the media and the press in this country are perceived as being less honest and truthful than used car salespeople.

To demonize an inanimate object instead if the hand that uses it! The "sheeple" just lap this stuff up.

AK-47s also have been the weapon of choice for some infamous military-minded wackos, such as the teens who shot up Columbine HS in Littleton, Colo., in 1999.

Um, no, no they weren't. Beavis and Butthead used a hipoint carbine, a Tec-9, one pump and one SxS shotgun. In none of the footage of them at the school, or out in the woods shooting, are they ever seen handling any sort of Kalashnikov rifle or derivative thereof.

The AK just needs two holes drilled in the reciever to be full auto (different sizes on each size of the reciever, and no other mods, IIRC), not very hard at all. Unless they're saying these guns had Da Switch but were modified so something wouldnt function correctly.
