Yes, MidWayUSA is a great company, isn't it?! I used them back 25 years ago when I had my FFL, and I still use them. They have a great selection, great prices and their service has been (for me) second-to-none! That is quite a claim considering a quarter century with them.

Not only are they fast, but they have stuff no one else does. I wanted a box of the new Hornady .40 S&W Critical Defense cartridges. This caliber was released in December, but not one San Antonio gun shop had them, and a number are supposed to be Hornandy stocking dealers. No problem for Midway! Not only that, but their price including shipping was less than what I paid for 9mm Critical Defense locally last fall!!
Can't help but chime in and add my kudos to Midway as well. ALWAYS get great service from them.
Whenever I'm looking for something, I check Midway first - if they have it, I buy it.
Getting a discount on my C&R doesn't hurt either.

They're great. Not always price competitive, but then no one always has the best price. There's a lot to be said for dependability. It's worth paying a little more if you need an item sooner than later.

I'm glad they now offer USPS shipping, as the flat rate boxes enable you to maximize the cost of product : cost of shipping variable.
I keep a hefty wish list going...
When I need to buy something, I put it in my cart and calculate the shipping cost.
Then I add items from my wish list and re-calcualte the shipping after each one.
When the shipping cost steps up, I take the last item out and then I know I've maxed out the weight or volume of the one rate box and am paying as little as possible.
Midways inventory is awesome!!
I price around and even if I can find items cheaper somewhere else, I can never find another place that has everything I'm looking for. By the time I split the order and pay multiple shipping charges, I could have saved money by getting the whole kit and kaboodle from Midway.
That and the fact that they started the whole NRA round up, turning a penny here and there into hundreds of thousands of dollars to the NRA are good reasons to always consider Midway.

I put in an order sunday evening late, and it is sitting on my front porch right now. Got to hand it to Midway.
My orders are almost always here the next day. Of course, I'm only about a 2 hour drive from there.
I stopped doing business with them when they wouldn't sell me +P 9mm in Vegas, but if I wanted 44mag, .357mag, 460s, 50 BMG's, no problem.

I still use both today and both have always been top notch.

I'm a Brownell's disciple. But honestly, lately, Midway edges them out. If Brownell's has an item canceled, Midway still has it. If Brownell's gets an order on Friday, it ships Monday. If Midway gets an order on Friday, it goes out Friday night and is DELIVERED Monday or Tuesday. Midway does the option to donate a little to the NRA too. Midway usually costs the same or a buck less.
Larry Potterfield does those sappy ads on the hunting channels where he says "We appreciate your business", and drops notes in the packages, and I seriously think he personally gets involved at every level of the operation.

Midway might not always have the best prices, sometimes they do sometimes they don’t. But they are such a pleasure to deal with that I will give them an extra dollar or two on small ticket items. Love the fast shipping! And that’s the way it is!

The only problem that I have with them is their deliveries always seem to show up at the same time that the wife pulls into the driveway. Then I have some major explaining to do. Oh well, after some screaming and hollering and a little bribery on my part, she always seems to get over it, until the next package arrives that is.
