I've recently gotten back into shooting my 92FS more frequently (i.e. a number of range sessions in the past several months whereas previous I was going YEARS in between visits since I first purchased gun in '94).
Anyway, I'm comfortable with the mechanics and operation of the gun and am an 'ok' shot - (30 rounds into 3-4" groups at 25 feet at fairly rapid rate; 1 shot a second). Everything closer than 20 feet I typically find myself point shooting and doing even better groupings there.
I"m looking for some suggestions on what range methods/drills you might recommend to increase my accuracy? What type of target have you found best for this type of practice. The full body size or the smaller, 5 bullseyes to a sheet type?
Should I being doing one single shot very slowly with careful aim each time? Or, should I be focusing on getting two or three slightly quicker shots on target and gradually trying to get faster and faster?
Just looking for sugggestions on what has worked for you - I know my results may differ, etc.
Thanks,
