I like the prices of this round until I read that the import stuff often has bimetal or copper-washed projectiles. I want to shoot true copper jacketed slugs. Am I limited to domestic ammo only? Thanks.
Yugoslavian surplus is brass cased, with copper jacketed lead bullet (at least all the stuff I've bought has been). It shoots good in all my AKs and SKS's. The currently available stuff is corrosive primed however so clean accordingly.
Outdoor Marksman has some listed.
Thanks. I wonder why they made corrosive stuff in modern times? It seems that I can choose the features I want WITH corrosive primers, or the stuff I really don't want WITHOUT corrosive primers. Dangit!. I do have some Cheetah stuff but the shipping to me in Kentucky from Utah runs over $30 a case. Phooey!
