Tradewinds Husquavarna

:Hi there. I have a Husquavarna model 9000 300 win mag imported by Tradewinds inc out of Tacoma Washington. Had the gun for 30 odd years and was wondering if anyone had any info on the history of these guns and what kind of value they have. Also have a featherweight Husquavarna 30-06 about the same vintage. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The 8000 and 9000 are identical actions.

Check Bolt Action Rifles by Frank de Haas, There is a pretty good write up about the Husqvarnas in it. I have a Smith & Wesson branded rifle which is actually a Husqvarna 8000, and, in my opinion, is one of the finest bolt actions of the 20th century.
