Inherted Winchester Model 52-B

    A new member, grizzly2u, wanted to know more about his newly inherited gun. It is a Winchester Model 52-B. I know very little about the gun, but if I remember correctly it is a pretty accurate bolt gun that was only offered in .22lr. Grizz, feel free to take over the discussion from here...I am sure others that are more knowledgeable than I will chime in. I also think that they might want to see pics, because...

    52 Winchesters are the creme-de-la-creme of .22 bolt action rifles. Most were target configurations used competitively but the Sporters are the high dollar ones. Recently a 52D thumbhole version brought over $6K on Gunbroker.....sporters will bring $4K-and up. I've been collecting them for years, better than the stock market.
