I've been a "reader' for a couple of years, so my first post is, of course, a request.

I just got a deal on a large lot of reloading supplies. Included were two shotgun / shotshell presses. One's an MEC Sizemaster, the other was a big "?" until yesterday.

It's an old Lyman Easy Loader Shotshell press. Looks to have both 12 and 20 gauge conversions, but a lot of parts are in a cardboard box.

Does anyone have a copy of the instructions manual, or the pages from an old Lyman Shotshell Load book that showed the use of this press?

I've scoured the internet to determine that the old Lyman load books seemed to have instructions. I haven't found any recent posts on any internet forum that gives a valid link, including THR.

Anybody have a digital copy? Or am I left with scrounging old book stores?

Thanks,

I had some, but i doubt i will find them soon enough. I also have at least a book or two showing the press in use, but again i have quite a large library of books and no working scanner!. Keep up with all those parts til you find some instructions because that press was the only press i know of that was capable of loading shotshells with fold or roll crimps and although slow it made nice looking shells. Spare parts are available in abundance and they hardly ever wear out. These presses can still be purchased for $25 to $30 (sometimes in near new condition) but it's hard to find roll crimp dies for them because those selling the presses parts etc. usually don't know what they (the crimpers) are for.

I have a copy of the manual. Send me your regular email address and I'll email you a copy. It's 8 pages.

Lyman said I'm pretty much out of luck, unless I find an old copy, or one of the reloading manuals listed above.

BUT! I've now been emailed a copy of the instruction manual, so all's well.

Thanks to all!
