Same here. I use cigarette papers now [Top or Bugler] but I like that flash paper. Looks like you wouldn't have to worry about ignition!

yeah, use that paper and back off your powder charge by 5%....lol
Would be good to wrap the kindling in your survival kit with it too!!

the Kirkland paper towels go in my fire starting kit. seriously....one spark, and those things go up in flames!

Hey Guys !!!
Flash paper, (Nitrated paper) Which is really nifty for paper cartridges, is available from most pyro-techincal supply houses, along with, gun cotton, (Nitrated puffed cotton), flash powders, and various types of pyrotechnical fuses (Some waterproofed). at prices way, way below what most BP specialty houses sell it for.

P.S., I use a 50/50 mix of flash powder and 4Fg BP as a primer powder for my flintlocks, makes a BIG flash, ignites FASTER, and sets off the powder charge in a HURRY. Sometimes, I buy the colored ones, gold sparkle ones, or red or green colored flash powder, for the holidays... I also like to use a small tuft of gun cotton, as a cotton pad, when I load my ML BP Rifles with Mini-Balls or Conicals, to seperate the powder from the lubbed conical/mini so the lube won't soak into the powder.
