So I went to the gun range with my girlfriend yesterday. The girlfriend who dislikes guns. Shes been warming up to them recently and sees that Im safe with them and that I keep them locked up etc.

But nots not the interesting part. I brought my kel-tec carbine, and started plinking rounds at 20 yds. So I figure Ill give my new magazines a try.

I recently bought 3 glock 17 magazines off of the internet. When I got them, they were made of metal and the quality felt less of a glock polymer mag. So i loaded one up, and shot...the magazine fell out of the gun. I thought maybe i hit the mag release with my thumb on accident (i have big hands and its a small gun). But no, shot after shot, the magazines fell outta the gun.

Word to the wise, if you are going to order magazines off of the internet, do a little research and dont end up like me. I just looked at the 3 glock mags for 15 bucks and thought it was a bargain. Now I know why.

nope, i forget the guys name. I have it on my home computer, but thats not where I am now.

another added feature to the mags, was the fact that they looked like beretta mags. they had the diamond shaped indent on the side of the magazine. I thought so and so did the range owner. But they arent beretta mags. It was the weirdest thing.

That's the problem with a LOT of aftermarket magazines. You probably have some Pro Mags or USA brand ones....I have had problems with them in the past too.

It's not like Glock mags are expensive... order them from a reputable dealer next time.
