Welcome aboard. Hope you keep coming to this corner of the Internet. Always good to have a few knowledgeable females in here. (Heaven knows I'm NOT one of them) :what:
I too am a mother. (8 month old beautiful daughter) :D
I'm older than you though. I will be 35 on Oct 3rd.
I haven't had to experience any negative stuff at the range. (Mostly just guys staring at me.) But I have never went by myself either. My husband always goes too. I have had guys let me shoot their guns. And yes, they were just being nice! I was sad though. They had nicer guns than I did. :eek: I still shot better with my old guns than they did with their nice new ones though! :p Well, as far as the new person buying the ammo, I need some .44 mag. and some 9mm. I have plenty for the rest of my other guns. :p

We are trying for 1 more, been trying for about 5 months now. They grow fast.
I am so happy to see other ladies around. :)

I use to go to some ocala shoot when i lived in Fla, I went with DH (dear husband) and I got to shoot so many cool things. Alot of guys we hung out with down there had so really sweet belt fed and full auto toys. :cool:

I got to shoot a full auto mac-10, that was kinda neat. I rarely have problems when I go with Dh. I love to go to the range but it is kinda hard with a baby, so we have to go seperatly right now, we have no family here, it's only us. I won't leave my girls with anyone...they only leave us when they go to school. Too many sick ppl out there. So when she gets a bit older she will be going with us. :)

That would be so cool to shoot full auto! I have never got the chance to do that.
The only time we go to the range is when my husband's mom watches Audrey for us. There are only a few family members I trust to watch her. So we don't go to the range as much as I would like.

Had to move for the job...the choice was Dh to get promoted with a significant raise or fired, what woukd you choose? We drew the line when it came to IL!
So while we work in IL we would never live there, no offense to thoses who do, ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

You sound pretty experienced. Oh, and no question is too silly - questions are GOOD. I've been shooting and reloading for over 30 yrs. and I still have questions.

Welcome! I once worked in the medical field myself, ER work is a tough job. I frankly wouldnt go back to it for any amount of money, thank god someone does! It warms my heart that a young lady such as your self, is trying to help educate the dumb masses on the duty and obligations of firearm ownership. :D

Thanl God all my patients are unconscious, I wuld hate to have to deal with er patients. I sit behind my machine and push buttons, simple I am in and out. It great don't think I could ever work a regular 9 to 5 job again...
 
Hello Jane,

Educating others is one of the greatest functions we can perform. Knowledge can clear away the misty hype that the anti crowd waifs up.
