Fill me in on this finish. I know nothing about it. How was the turn around time? Cost?

Go to http://springerprecision.com/ and download the pdf on IonBond. It is a very fine coating applied with heat and in a vacuum. It is what they call a diamond like carbon finish, DLC. Prices are on their web site. I had some additional work done and have not received a final bill.

I sent the guns off the first week of January and got them back last Friday. They say to expect 4-6 weeks at the factory, plus shipping and prep time.

The finish is darker in sunlight.
