Iowa: Any Shooting Ranges Which Rent Handguns?

Anyone know of any shooting ranges in Iowa which rent handguns?

Where in Iowa?

I'm about half way between Iowa City and Des Moines but travel some through out the state.

So far the closest place I have found is Shooting Sports Unlimited in Moline, Illinois.

They didn't about a year ago when I was looking to rent some. As much as I dislike them (the old man pissed me off some years ago), I figured I would rent from them if I was able to. But they didn't/don't, so I didn't have to give myself heartburn at the prospect of giving them money.

None that I've heard of or found either (Northern half).

I've been trying to figure out the overall gun purchasing mindset of Iowa. There is a growing handgun market due to the new carry law, but most of the ranges are public and have no range officers. I'm guessing the shooting clubs for the most part also have no range officers and you just pay to use the range whenever you want. With the majority of the state being so rural, there's probably not enough money to be had renting.

Good luck. Your best bet for looking would probably be the biggest cities.
