I concede it was artificially created in 1918, but remember unless you are older than 89 with a memory of your youth in Iraq, you have always been an Iraqi. Tribal ties are strong and it may be that the country will have to be partitioned. But if we can keep it intact that is a better idea.

Yugoslavia was also created in 1918 so most Bosnians, Serbians, Croats and Montenegrins had always been Yugoslavs as well and we know what happened after Tito's death. Without a Saddam or a Tito these artificial states fall apart--AND THEY SHOULD.

Look here.... Fascist ideologies include an authoritarian state, nationalism, government control by an elite or corporate sector, and are opposed to liberalism, communism, and conservatism.

Frankly, the description fits.

The bulk of Republicans support Second Amendment rights and personal freedom. Hardly fascist traits...

And yet, the current administration clearly does not support those traits. And Limbaugh is a big Bush supporter. He's also very fond of truthiness.

Guys, I don't care what the hell you believe, but if you're going to have this discussion on THR, you can do it without calling everyone who disagrees with you names.

And I frankly don't give a damn what the dictionary definition is when you selectively apply it to people you disagree with.
