Is howdah 20 gauge a joke or could it be used for small game and close range deer

Having given it thought (relating the idea to my experience hunting with more conventional firearms), I don't believe I'd choose a howdah (or any pistol/ 20 GA) for deer or hog.

HOWEVER, if I were limiting myself to black powder muzzle loaders, especially for hogs, I'd want one of these in .50x20ga as backup for a coup de grace shot or an "I think I just made it angry" shot.

I think that Howdah would be perfect for those kind of shots Texan... .610 round ball at 700 fps should cool his anger just fine!
