Working in a firing range taught me revolvers arent a safe bet. Ive seen them lock up on bullets jumping crimp, primers coming loose, wierd timing issues.and just crappy construction in the crane mechanism shooting itself shut.
Ive ran countless thousand s of rounds through my autos and feel they are reliable enough for me as long as i understand the limitations.
and 16 rounds of full house 10mm is nothing to look over.
Primers coming loose isn't a revolver issue. Blame the guy who made the ammo.
OTOH, shooting IPSC showed me that nothing is immune to malfunctions. I see $$$$ raceguns and duty type pistols malfunction all the time right along side the moonclipped revolvers with overly light springs.
