Is New Hampshire gun friendly?

How did we possibly make it this far in this discussion without quoting the legendary General John Stark? "Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils"

As an NH resident of 18 years, I have found the state to be very gun friendly. Beyond the regulatory environment already discussed, people simply accept firearms as an ordinary part of the culture. I'm not talking zombie apocalypse, mall ninja crap either. I was at a function for my son's school and a group of 6 of us dads started talking. All ended up shooting recreationally, for hunting, home defense, etc. They ranged from a teacher, ex-cop, software developer, lawyer, human resources director, salesman, etc. Just a bunch of responsible adults that enjoy shooting.
