Is Savage 243 Trophy Hunter XP magazine the same as Savage Axis 243 magazine?

I’m trying to order a magazine for my Savage 243 Trophy Hunter XP rifle. I need to know if the Axis 243 magazine and the Trophy Hunter magazine are the same model.

They should be the same.
I have the Axis II in .223, and my friend and I are able to share mags when we go to the range, he has the Trophy 11 in. 223.

I can't imagine the .243 being any different.

My understanding was that Savage used the same magazines for the Trophy series as the Axis series to save on the manufacturing overhead.

Not all the parts are interchangeable, for that reason. However, I think it was about 2015ish that they started making the mags and a few other select parts interchangeable.

The Axis xp & Axis II xp magazine releases are on the magazine itself, NOT on the stock.
So long as your Trophy Hunter XP isn't an older model or has an aftermarket/custom stock with the release on the stock itself, then the magazines will be interchangeable.
